Over a 30 year career, the last 15 as CEO, BK led a group of some of the most talented and dedicated professionals in the Nutritional Products Industry to grow Leiner Health Products from a small “Start-Up” to become America‘s largest supplier of Store Brand Vitamin and OTC Drug products with annual sales of approximately $800MM/yr. The Company produced 20 billion doses annually and was supported by 3000 employees in 2 million sq. ft. throughout seven facilities.
More recently, BK has been involved in numerous Private Equity transactions and worked with several young entrepreneurial teams to launch their businesses including Liquid I.V. which won best new item of 2016 by ECRM and was acquired by Unilever in 2020.
Chris has spent 30 years in the food industry in various leadership roles across Fortune 150 companies and entrepreneurial start-ups. In his recent role as President at UNFI, a $30 billion grocery wholesaler, he led many of the commercial functions including sales, supplier programs, professional services, private brands and private label manufacturing.
Prior to joining UNFI, Chris enjoyed a successful career in the beverage industry leading the marketing efforts for iconic brands like Nantucket Nectars, Orangina and Yoo-Hoo and market leaders like Motts and Hawaiian Punch.
Over the course of a lengthy career in senior and operational leadership, Andy has served in the top role for five different companies ranging in annual revenue from $15M to $200M, including leadership of the largest provider of supplements to healthcare practitioners, Emerson Ecologics.
His experience also includes a broad spectrum of operational (manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, project management) leadership, quality system buildout, deep international exposure and leadership roles in start-up, private equity and corporate, regulated environments. Andy has held multiple advisory and consulting roles involving company assessment, due diligence and operational/ strategic planning.
